Detachment #1391



Brazos Valley Marine Corps League, in support of the College Station Parks & Recreation Department, has rescued 1,120 Parks Pals dogs, cats, rabbits, and unicorns that need a home. On August 15, 2020, from 8 AM to noon there will be a drive-thru Parks Pal Adopt-A-Thon at the Meyer Senior & Community Center. For more information click on ADOPT A PARKS PAL.

Detachment 1391 has been an active supporter of Wreaths Across America for a number of years. In recognition of our continued support, Wreaths Across America has offered to provide the Detachment a distribution from sales of wreaths made in the name of the Brazos Valley Marine Corps League. Wreaths are installed in December, but can be acquired throughout the year. To acquire a wreath in the name of BVMCL go to the Wreaths Across America website.

The members of the Brazos Valley Marine Corps League Detachment come from all walks of life, with the common thread of having proudly served in the United States Marine Corps or as FMF Corpsmen..

Our Purpose

The Brazos Valley Marine Corps League Detachment 1391 was established on April 14, 2012, with the specific mission of caring for our fellow Marines and FMF Corpsmen, other veterans, and of supporting the communities of the Brazos Valley.

Our Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Monday monthly at Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que, located at 3055 Earl Rudder Fwy S, College Station. Social begins a 1800 (6:00 PM), with the meeting starting at 1900 (7:00 PM).
