Brazos Valley Marine Corps League

Procedures for Ordering Brisket

How does the Brazos Valley Marine Corps League use the money obtained through the brisket program?

Money raised by the Brazos Valley Marine Corps League (BVMCL) is used to provide a number of services for the local community. The organization provides local Marines and FMF Corpsmen financial assistance during times of crisis. At Texas A. & M. University (TAMU), BVMCL presents a Mameluke sword to the top performing Marine upon commissioning. The detachment also provides scholarships to Marine students at TAMU based on needs and performance. Prior to Poolees leaving for Marine Boot Camp, BVMCL provides refreshments and a light meal for the Poolees and their families at the Poolee Orientation meeting each Spring.
