BVMCL Places Headstone

On February 2, 2021, Benito Vallejo, Detachment 1391 Commandant, along with Robert Jackson of the Bryan City Cemetery, placed the headstone for veteran Malvin Tayler in response to a request for assistance by his family. Malvin Tayler was buried in the new Veteran's section of the Bryan City Cemetery, which the Brazos Valley Marine Corps League played a role in getting established.
The following is a thank you note receoved from the family.

I want to thank you, but I realize I don’t know where to begin. However, my family did, so I just want to say that placing our love one’s headstone was something we could not have done without you. The time I spent watching you do so, I realized you were a very special group of individuals. A wonderful person placed the headstone perfectly. The family of Malvin Tayler can only say: Thank you so much for you service. |
